Frequently Asked Questions

How does Tiles² work?

Simply select any of our tiles, and/ or packages, click on the link Request a Quote, and fill in the details in the description box. One of our specialist team members will provide you with a quote. We highly recommend you request a sample of your chosen tile(s). Once you accept the quote, and make the payment, we shall send you a tracking number for your delivery so that you can track your order.

How do I obtain samples from Tiles²?

When you click on the link Request a Quote, please include in the description box that you wish to obtain a sample of the selected tile(s). Alternatively, you can request a sample once we provide you with the quote. Please note that some samples require a deposit which will be refunded once they have been returned. If you proceed with the purchase of the tile(s) and wish to keep the sample, we will credit the deposit from your quote.

What if I don’t want to pay a deposit for the sample?

Not all samples will require a deposit. If you wish to have a sample of your chosen tile, and you do not wish to pay a deposit for the sample and choose either the intermediate or advanced package, one of our specialists can bring you the tile to show you during the consultancy meeting.

How do I place an order on Tiles²?

Simply select any of our tiles, and/ or packages, click on the link Request a Quote, and fill in the details in the description box. One of our specialist team members will provide you with a quote. Once you send us a return email accepting the quote and we will send you the payment instructions.

What are your payment terms?

Our payment terms are 50% upon placing the order and 50% prior to the tiles being dispatched. Our payment terms are non-negotiable. However, of you opt for our intermediate or advance packages, you will need to pay 50% prior to your consultancy meeting and the remaining 50% fee prior to the goods being ready to dispatch (the remaining 50% of the fee for the services package will be added to the second 50% payment).

What happens if I need to make amendments or additions to my order?

Please contact us as soon as possible in order to assess whether we can make the necessary arrangements. If you amend your order following acceptance of our quote, we will try our best endeavours to make necessary arrangements. However, any amendments will be subject to revised costs and VAT.

How many tiles should I order?

We always recommend ordering extra tiles just in case there are any wastage or you require extra tiles and also to avoid the risk of your chosen tiles being out of stock or discontinued should you require more tiles.

How long will it take for my delivery to arrive?

This depends on the place of origin your chosen tiles are coming from. When we provide you with a quote, we will endeavour to include an estimated delivery time, however, should you require your tiles to be delivered at an earlier or later time/ date, please let us know and we will do our best to meet your requirements.

How will the tiles be delivered?

This will depend on the delivery location. We will do our best to accommodate, however, typically should delivery be required on a construction site; we would deliver the tiles on the ground floor of your delivery address in order to comply with our health and safety, and insurance policies. However, if you purchase one of our intermediate or advanced packages, we will discuss separately how the tiles will be delivered.

My tiles have arrived but they are damaged. What can I do?

Please let us know by email within two (2) business days from the date of delivery with photographic evidence of the damaged tiles. One of our representatives will attend the site to inspect the tiles. There may be cases where one or two tiles are cracked or broken, in such instances, we highly recommend for these tiles be used in areas where tiles need to be cut to a specific shape for a particular area. If you still require one or two tiles to complete your job, please let us know in advance to accommodate your request and resolve any issues.

My tiles have arrived but I have received an incorrect order. What can I do?

In the extremely rare case, the tiles you ordered is not the correct order on delivery, please let us know by email within two (2) business days from the date of delivery with photographic evidence of the tiles. Please also note that due to the photographic quality or images on our website, the colour or design on certain tiles, may appear slightly different in real life. We therefore cannot be held responsible for any discrepancy from the images on the website and how they appear on your screen. Please also note that there are certain tiles, such as marble, due to it being a natural stone, the colours or lines may vary which is expected depending on the block used. We therefore highly recommend that you order a sample first before placing an order, or alternatively, communicate to us any specific requirements.

How do I request my tiles to be fitted?

Please let us know at the time of placing your order or as soon as you require a professional tiler and we will do our very best to meet your timescales. Our tilers are handpicked to ensure that they follow our guidelines and checklists when fixing your tiles. We also ensure that our tilers follow industry standards and as an added service, we also provide site supervision by one of our project managers who have extensive experience to ensure you are provided with one of the best and professional services.

Please can you explain more about your packages?

At Tiles², we provide three (3) types of packages. (1) The Basic Package is the pretty self explanatory, you select the tiles, request a sample and quote, accept the quote, make payment and the tiles are delivered. (2) The Intermediate Package includes what is offered in the basic package and in addition, you offer our consultancy service at the site location or your offices with one of our qualified tile consultants and provide site supervision. (3) The Advance Package offers the Intermediate Package but as an additional service, we also fix your tiles by one of our professional tilers following industry standards.
